BLESH Privacy Policy

This privacy policy was created to describe how your personal information is treated when using the BLESH app (the “Service”) and the BLESH web site (the “Site”).


What Information is Collected?

Information collected while using the Service includes: a randomly generated device UDID string and your device’s IP address. Information collected while using the Site includes: your IP address, computer operating system, browser version and language setting, screen resolution, and referring URL. This information is used to help diagnose server issues, to provide statistics/usage traffic information, and to stop malicious behavior when using the Site or the Service.

While using the Site, information about your usage may be captured, such as which links were clicked, etc. Your email address is required to submit a support enquiry.

Your information will only be shared in compliance with court orders, subpoenas, regulatory obligations, or when otherwise required to do so by law, including suspected fraud, and/or situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person.


Content Shared Using the Service

The Service makes use of third party sharing services including but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, and Tumblr. The privacy notices of these web sites or services govern the use of your personal information associated with them. BLESH is not responsible for the privacy policies or your adherence to the terms of use on these services. You agree that submitting any personal information to any and/or all of these services in conjunction with BLESH, even if voluntarily disclosed, is your responsibility. You are also encouraged to review the Terms of Use.


Generated Content

We would like to see what you make with the Service, so when you share an animation with your friends, it is automatically shared with us too. The details of your animation are stored NAME AND DETAILS OF DATABASE HERE. There is an option in the Service to disable this sharing feature.


Information Use

The Site may use cookies, web beacons, and/or log file information to: (a) monitor aggregate metrics such as total number of visitors and pages viewed. The animations you share with us may be displayed on a physical version of the BLESH pixel array as part of a gallery installation by Dennis McNulty.



The Service or the Site may ban, block, or otherwise prevent your device ID and/or IP address from accessing the Service, for any reason at its sole discretion without prior notice. In addition, you may remove the app from your iOS device at any time.
